WhatsApp Could Soon Make It Easier to Share Your Status Updates Across Platforms

WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature that would allow users to automatically share their status updates to Facebook. The feature is currently under development and is not yet available to the public.

According to WABetaInfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp beta releases, the new feature will be called “Share my status across my accounts.” Once enabled, this feature will automatically share any new status update you post on WhatsApp to your Facebook Story.

The audience you share your Facebook Story with will be controlled by your Facebook privacy settings. If you have your Facebook Story set to “Public,” your status updates will be visible to anyone who has access to your Facebook profile. If you have your Facebook Story set to “Friends,” your status updates will only be visible to your Facebook friends.

It is not yet clear when the “Share my status across my accounts” feature will be rolled out to the public. However, it is likely that the feature will be released in the near future, as it is already under development.
